Job summary

International SOS is seeking a skilled Bid Writer to join the team remotely in the United States. You will lead crafting high-quality RFP responses, coordinate cross-functional inputs, and ensure compliance across US/Canada opportunities.

You will collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, Legal, and other SMEs to shape persuasive proposals, manage document control, and drive process improvements while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of bid writing and proposal development experience.
• Experience using bid management and proposal automation tools, CRM platforms, and CMS.
• Demonstrated experience leveraging AI-enabled tools to improve proposal development while maintaining compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, coordination, writing, and submission of high-quality responses to RFPs, RFQs, tenders, and other opportunities.
• Manage proposal activities throughout the bid lifecycle, ensuring adherence to bid processes, timelines, and governance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, Legal, and other SMEs to gather information and develop compelling content.
• Produce clear, persuasive, client-focused responses communicating value propositions and differentiators.
• Ensure submissions are compliant with client requirements and instructions.
• Manage document control, reviews, approvals, and version control through final submission.
• Coordinate bid reviews and incorporate stakeholder feedback to improve quality and competitiveness.
• Support bid qualification activities and identify risks to successful submission.
• Manage client clarification requests and post-submission activities as required.
• Maintain proposal content, templates, and knowledge repositories, contributing to process improvements.
