Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a skilled BI/Analytics professional to independently configure, test, monitor, and maintain BI platforms and reporting tools within a remote-office environment. You will ensure performance, security, and compliance while mentoring teammates and driving improvements across Epic Cogito deployments.

The role requires 5–7 years in Epic applications and BI tools, a CS-related degree or equivalent experience, and Epic Cogito certifications planned or in place.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in Epic applications and BI tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience with Epic Cogito and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Configure, test, monitor, and maintain BI platforms, systems, and servers to meet operational needs.
• Monitor BI tools to ensure optimal performance and compliance with policies and standards.
• Provide user training and job aids for BI/reporting tools and manage upgrades/changes.
• Support BI/reporting systems including maintenance, security changes, testing, license provisioning, and on-call participation.
• Manage security, access provisioning, and long-term sustainability of BI/reporting configurations.
• Document tasks thoroughly and manage projects using appropriate tools and methodologies.
• Stay informed on healthcare IT trends and BI technology to drive innovation.
• Mentor junior team members in BI/reporting administration.
