Job summary
Advocate Health is seeking a remote BI/Analytics Engineer to independently configure, test, monitor, and maintain analytics platforms and BI tooling across enterprise systems. This role requires 5–7 years of Epic BI experience, strong analysis, and governance skills, with collaboration across time zones and architecture reviews.
The candidate will mentor analysts, manage content lifecycle, and contribute to security and upgrade activities while staying current with healthcare IT trends and EHR
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Epic Cogito experience required.
- Typically 5–7 years of experience with Epic applications and BI tools.
- Epic Cogito and BI tools knowledge required; Epic Cogito certifications preferred.
- Experience with healthcare IT projects and data analytics.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
Responsibilities
- Configure, test, monitor, and maintain BI platforms and servers.
- Monitor BI tools for performance and usage.
- Train analysts and end users on BI/Reporting tools.
- Provide BI system maintenance, upgrades, security changes, and go-live support.
- Manage analytics content lifecycle and ensure content governance.
