Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services-Retail Lending in Lincoln, NE is seeking a mid-level Business Reporting Analyst to develop and maintain reports and dashboards, perform in-depth data analysis, and identify trends to support decision-making within the Mortgage Lending Division.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, automate reporting, build a data dictionary, and train users on Power BI, SSRS, and SQL, with a target pay range of $75,000 to $95,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Two (2) to four (4) years’ experience as a Business Reporting Analyst I and/or similar role.
• A minimum of two (2) years in the Residential Mortgage Industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business units to gather reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting requirements (HMDA, Fair Lending, state and federal reporting) and ensure timeliness and accuracy.
• Analyze data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for operational improvement.
• Perform data validation and analysis of all reportable data to ensure accuracy and develop exception reports.
• Develop and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports using BI tools (Power BI, SSRS, SQL).
• Automate manual reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
• Support the development of a data dictionary for Mortgage Lending data and document reports procedures.
• Provide training and support business users on reporting tools.
