Job summary

Chubby Group is seeking a Benefits Specialist who is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about employee benefits and HR operations. You will administer benefit programs, assist employees with questions, coordinate enrollments, and ensure regulatory compliance.

This hybrid/remote role offers flexible hours, visa sponsorship options (OPT/H1B), and opportunities to collaborate with carriers, payroll, and multiple locations as our benefits program scales across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

• High sense of responsibility and ownership.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (OPT/H1B sponsorship available).

Responsibilities

• Administer employee benefit programs (health, dental, vision, retirement, etc.).
• Coordinate benefit enrollments, eligibility updates, and life events.
• Serve as primary contact for benefit inquiries and provide timely support.
• Maintain accurate benefits records in HR systems.
• Coordinate with Payroll for benefit deductions and records.
• Collaborate with carriers, brokers, and vendors on benefits issues.
• Assist with annual open enrollment planning and communications.
• Monitor eligibility and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare benefits reports and document processes (Excel/Sheets).
• Identify improvements to benefits administration and employee experience.
• Occasionally travel to locations to support HR initiatives or openings.
