Chubby Group is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage payroll for employees across multiple restaurant locations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

You will coordinate with HR, Operations and Finance, review timecards and bonuses, and maintain confidential payroll records while supporting inquiries from staff.

The role offers a hybrid/remote work arrangement with potential travel and visa sponsorship for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll processing for multi-location hospitality.
• Attention to detail and confidentiality in handling payroll data.
• Familiarity with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately for employees across multiple locations.
• Review timecards, attendance, overtime, tips, and PTO for accuracy.
• Maintain payroll records and confidentiality.
• Assist with new hire payroll setup and status changes.
• Respond to payroll inquiries regarding wages, deductions, and taxes.
• Coordinate with HR/Operations to resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable payroll laws and regulations.
• Prepare payroll reports and use payroll software/Excel.
• Assist with audits and year-end payroll processes.
