Job summary

Vituity is seeking a Benefits Administrator for remote nationwide work. The role focuses on processing payroll deductions, reconciling vendors, and managing benefit plans within HCM and payroll systems. You will answer questions from Payroll and People Operations and support Open Enrollment.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in HR/payroll, a business/finance degree, and strong Excel skills. A collaborative culture and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in HR, Payroll, or Benefits.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance.
• Strong mathematical and finance aptitude.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Oracle HCM, ADP Payroll, and Bswift Benefits preferred.
• Basic knowledge of benefit plan principles and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Able to take meeting minutes and interact with diverse employees.

Responsibilities

• Process and review payroll deductions from benefits vendor and participant changes into the payroll system.
• Reconcile vendors to ensure payroll deduction accuracy.
• Monitor and troubleshoot status changes, terminations, and new hires in HCM to ensure downstream feeds to payroll and benefits systems.
• Handle questions from Payroll Department and People Operations about benefits issues.
• Provide technical assistance to resolve system problems.
• Assist with Open Enrollment (Pre/Post Audits).
• Reconcile and maintain accuracy of HSA, FSA, and DCAP plans.
• Administer life events and dependent verification process.
• Back up for life insurance billing and plan processing.
• Prepare billing and lead for the Commuter Benefits Program.
• If Retirement Plan Administration supported: prepare Schwab contributions and reconcile payments.
