Job summary

Vituity is seeking a Remote Payroll Assistant to join our healthcare transformation team. You will handle ticketed payroll inquiries, provide tier-zero support, and coordinate with cross-functional members to ensure accurate data and timely payments.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service skills, proficient Excel/Office use, and a detail-oriented approach under pressure. This role offers flexible hours and remote nationwide possibilities within the Vituity community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum 2 years in customer service, project management, or administrative role.
• Experience in large payroll function is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and good Excel knowledge.
• Able to work with minimal supervision in a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Receive and categorize payroll tickets via ticketing systems.
• Triage inquiries and provide tier zero materials for quick resolution.
• Route non-tier zero issues to appropriate team members.
• Perform password resets for payroll/timekeeping systems after identity checks.
• Answer payroll lines and assist with tier zero support or escalation.
• Monitor interface results for payroll/timekeeping systems and escalate issues.
• Coordinate with payroll team on cross-functional data requests while protecting PII.
• Maintain team calendar and biweekly/monthly/quarterly/annual tasks.
• Support verification of employment requests and data entry for timely payments.
