Job summary

Quantum Health, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Counsel – Benefits Administration & Service Contracts to serve as a trusted adviser on ERISA, ACA and HIPAA compliance, plus vendor contract negotiations for employer-sponsored health plans.

The role supports health plan design, disclosures, and regulatory compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams across the organization. Remote or hybrid work options within the United States are available.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in a U.S. state.
• 5–10 years of legal experience with health and welfare benefits, ERISA fiduciary matters, and vendor contract negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and draft client, vendor, and partner contracts including TPAs, PBMs, wellness vendors, and insurers.
• Provide legal counsel on design and administration of health and welfare benefit plans.
• Ensure compliance with ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, and state requirements.
• Draft, review, and maintain plan documents and SPDs for regulatory clarity.
• Respond to disputes, claims, and appeals and oversee outside counsel as needed.
• Monitor regulatory developments and implement policy updates.
• Support audits and investigations related to benefits administration and vendor contracts.
• Educate internal stakeholders on fiduciary obligations and contract compliance.
• Participate in special projects and other legal initiatives.
