Quantum Health, Inc. seeks an experienced Corporate Counsel – Benefits Administration & Service Contracts to provide trusted legal guidance on employer-sponsored health plan administration, ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, and related contract negotiations with TPAs, PBMs, and vendors.

The role supports compliance, disclosures, and participant communications across health plan programs. The ideal candidate has in-house experience in employee benefits, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school and active U.S. state license.
• 5–10 years of legal experience with health and welfare benefits, ERISA fiduciary matters, and vendor contract negotiation/management.
• In-house counsel experience focused on employee benefits and health plans is strongly preferred.
• Benefits litigation experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, IRS regulations, and related laws.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and draft client, vendor, and partner contracts including TPAs, PBMs, wellness vendors, stop-loss carriers, and insurers.
• Advise on design, implementation, and administration of health and welfare benefit plans including medical, dental, vision, EAP, and FSA programs.
• Ensure compliance with ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, and state insurance requirements.
• Draft and maintain plan documents, SPDs, and participant communications for regulatory clarity.
• Support audits, Department of Labor investigations, and inquiries related to benefits administration and vendor contracts.
