Insurance Office Of America is seeking an Account Manager – Employee Benefits to oversee service and management of client accounts. You will lead Account Coordinators, ensure high service levels, manage renewals, and drive new business opportunities within a remote-capable role covering Eastern and Central time zones.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in the industry, active licensing, strong communication, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience and active licensing.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational, delegation and decision-making abilities.
• High accuracy handling large work volumes.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business and meet performance requirements.
• Deliver outstanding client service with proactive communication.
• Lead the account team and direct daily tasks of Account Coordinators.
• Identify sales opportunities to grow IOA business.
• Oversee new business setup, including data gathering and onboarding.
• Manage renewals, liaise with clients and carriers, and obtain rates.
• Build and improve client relationships and advocate for clients.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
