OneDigital: Insurance, Financial Services, and HR Consulting is seeking an Employee Benefits Account Manager. This remote position in California will manage an assigned book of business, serving as the main client contact and collaborating with internal teams to meet and exceed client expectations.

The role requires 3+ years in account management or a consultative role, a Life and Health license, strong communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in account management or in a consultative role, required
• Life and Health license, required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, required
• Experience with broker agencies or benefit administration firms, required
• Familiarity with quoting processes and tools, preferred
• Bachelor's Degree, preferred

Responsibilities

• Manages and maintains assigned book of business
• Serves in an advisory capacity for clients
• Delegates work assignments to internal service team members
• Works with Benefits Consultants and Client Executives to manage renewals
• Manages day-to-day client issues
• Conducts needs analysis and strategy calls
• Conducts enrollment meetings as needed
• Conducts regular client meetings
• Advises clients on reducing costs while offering competitive benefits
• Assists with 5500 form filings as applicable
• Supports growth of book of business through cross-sale opportunities
• Builds relationships with clients through proactive communications
• Educates clients on trends, concerns and changes in the industry
• Provides leadership within the extended service team
