Job summary

OneDigital is seeking an Account Manager in California to manage an assigned book of business and serve as the primary client contact for benefits-related service needs. You will collaborate with internal service teams and Benefits Consultants to ensure service deliverables meet expectations.

The role requires 3+ years in account management or a consultative role, broker agency or benefit administration experience, and a Life and Health license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in account management or in a consultative role
• Broker/agency or benefit administration firm experience
• Current Life and Health license
• Thorough knowledge of health and ancillary products
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Familiarity with quoting processes and tools (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Manages and maintains assigned book of business
• Advises clients in reducing costs while offering competitive benefits options
• Deals with day-to-day client issues and renewals
• Conducts needs analysis and strategy calls
• Leads enrollment meetings and regular client meetings
• Builds relationships with clients through proactive communications
• Educates clients on trends, concerns and changes in the industry
• Provides leadership within the extended service team
