Job summary

Alera Group is seeking a Benefit Analyst to join our Employee Benefits team. You will help deliver exceptional client service, analyze benefits data, and support complex account engagements across the benefits landscape.

You will collaborate with consultants and producers, review project deliverables, and research compliance topics to support client needs. The role offers remote work in the Eastern/Central Timezones with potential hybrid arrangements.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in employee benefits or related field
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong time management skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Partner with Consultants and Producers to support client benefit strategy and service initiatives
• Review and monitor ongoing client projects, deliverables, and service requests
• Assist in the management of complex employee benefits accounts and client engagements
• Analyze benefits data, financial information, and plan performance to support client decision-making
• Research benefits, compliance, and industry-related topics to support client needs
• Review client communication materials and benefit documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, vendors, and internal partners
• Support special projects, reporting initiatives, and process improvement activities
