Job summary

Alera Group is seeking a Benefit Analyst to join our Employee Benefits team in a hybrid capacity. You will help attract, retain, and support employees through innovative benefits solutions and deliver exceptional client service.

The role requires 2–3 years in employee benefits, strong analytical abilities, and proficiency in Excel and MS Office. You will build trusted client relationships and contribute to benefit data analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in employee benefits or related field
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and MS Office; strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Partner with Consultants and Producers to support client benefit strategy and service initiatives
• Review and monitor ongoing client projects, deliverables, and service requests
• Assist in the management of complex employee benefits accounts and client engagements
• Analyze benefits data, financial information, and plan performance to support client decision-making
• Research benefits, compliance, and industry-related topics to support client needs
• Review client communication materials and benefit documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, vendors, and internal partners
• Support special projects, reporting initiatives, and process improvement activities
