Job summary

Alera Group is hiring a Benefit Analyst to join our Employee Benefits team. In this role, you will support client benefit strategy, analyze key metrics, and help manage complex accounts. You’ll build trusted relationships with clients, carriers, and internal partners while delivering exceptional service.

This remote role covers Eastern and Central Timezones and offers opportunities for professional growth within a national organization. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in employee benefits or related field.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Consultants and Producers to support client benefit strategy and service initiatives.
• Review and monitor ongoing client projects, deliverables, and service requests.
• Assist in managing complex employee benefits accounts and client engagements.
• Analyze benefits data, financial information, and plan performance to support client decisions.
• Research benefits, compliance, and industry topics to support client needs.
• Review client communication materials and benefit documentation for accuracy.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, vendors, and internal partners.
• Support special projects, reporting initiatives, and process improvements.
