Job summary

Land O'Lakes, Inc. seeks a Feed Sales Representative - Cattle to grow our livestock portfolio across Southwest Missouri. This remote field-based role focuses on beef cattle prospects, farm visits, and product recommendations, with a strong emphasis on building dealer relationships and delivering exceptional service.

You'll travel 5-10% overnight, visit 25+ farms weekly, lead educational events, and collaborate with internal teams to drive growth while developing technical market knowledge.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years industry experience or farm experience equivalent to sales experience
• Ability to formulate feed related to Grass Cattle
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities

Responsibilities

• Make 25+ farm visits per week to assess feeding programs and recommend solutions
• Drive sales by introducing new feed products and supporting existing customers
• Develop dealer relationships and collaborate with Purina experts
• Lead educational events and product demonstrations to promote offerings
• Manage customer data and use analytics tools to deepen market knowledge
• Coordinate logistics and materials with dealers and cross-functional teams
• Support growth strategies by executing sales plans and identifying opportunities
• Pursue ongoing professional development within the territory
