Job summary

ASSA ABLOY is seeking a Business Development Manager to manage an assigned U.S. territory with national and global responsibilities.

The role emphasizes developing new sales opportunities with security spec writers, OEM partners, integrators, and end-users, while driving LifeSafety Power specifications and converting competitors. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of outside sales or 3 years with related bachelor’s degree, strong access control knowledge, and proven prospecting skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years outside sales experience / territory management or three (3) years outside sales experience / territory management with a related bachelor’s degree.
• Strong background in access control or security industries.
• Working relationships with access control manufacturers, integrators, consultants, A&E’s and end-users are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop new sales opportunities within the assigned territory and national/global responsibilities.
• Deliver regular product presentations to facilitate a solutions-based sales approach.
• Educate and inform the A&E and security consultant community about LifeSafety Power solutions to drive new specifications and win opportunities.
• Maintain CRM and report activities to leadership; highlight new business, pipeline, and progress.
