Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. is seeking a Business Development Manager for HVAC & Pumps to drive OEM relationships nationwide. This role focuses on delivering automation solutions for pump, HVAC, and fluid-handling applications, aligning with customer priorities and timelines.

You will work with cross-functional teams to qualify opportunities, visit sites, and close deals while expanding WEG’s market presence in the US. Remote work option with regional travel may apply.

Qualifications

5+ years in industrial automation sales or related field.
Experience with OEM customers and growing relationships.
Strong knowledge of VFDs, soft starters, and industrial controls.
Ability to work with engineering, operations, and procurement teams.

Responsibilities

Meet sales goals for VFDs, soft starters, industrial controls, and UL508A panels.
Generate sales leads, develop opportunities, and close new business.
Qualify leads to identify viable opportunities and prioritize efforts.
Visit customer sites to review technical challenges and new applications.
Coordinate with Area Managers and Automation Sales Engineers to gain new business.
Develop and manage assigned market Automation pipeline opportunities.
