Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. is hiring a Business Development Manager, OEM Automation – HVAC & Pumps. This role grows sales with OEMs, package builders, and contractors in pump, HVAC, and fluid-handling applications.

Based in the Duluth, GA area, you will drive automation solutions that improve system performance and energy efficiency nationwide. You will build relationships with OEMs in pumps, chillers, AHUs, cooling towers, and data center cooling, coordinating with regional managers and developing a

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial automation sales or BD.
• Proven success developing OEM relationships.
• Strong knowledge of VFDs, soft starters, and automation solutions.
• Understanding UL508A panels, PLC-based systems, and systems integration.
• Ability to work with engineering, operations, and procurement teams.
• Strong understanding of the assigned vertical market and OEMs.

Responsibilities

• Meet sales goals for VFDs, soft starters, industrial controls, and UL508A panels.
• Generate sales leads, develop opportunities, and close new business.
• Qualify leads to identify viable opportunities and prioritize efforts.
• Obtain specifications of WEG Automation products on the target customer's approved vendor list.
• Visit customer sites to review technical challenges and new applications.
• Identify opportunities and coordinate with internal experts to implement solutions.
• Coordinate with Area Managers, Territory Account Managers, and Automation Sales Engineers.
• Develop and manage automation pipeline opportunities and work with non-direct reports to close business.
• Coordinate with Product Managers, Application Engineers, and Service personnel to define solutions.
• Analyze financial data and forecast revenue; prepare KPI reports.
