Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a remote Business Development Director, Early Drug Development to drive growth in Crop Protection and Chemicals markets. The role focuses on selling Environmental, & Human Safety services with a hunter mindset, managing key accounts and partnerships.

The BDD will travel 40-50% for conferences and client visits, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and use CRM tools to forecast and close opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5 years sales experience selling scientific products/services to CPC/pharma or biotech segments.
• Experience interacting with mid-level and executive decision makers.

Responsibilities

• Achieves annual sales plan and targets for assigned territory.
• Leads client meetings, proposals, and capabilities presentations.
• Maintains pipeline forecasting and opportunity management in Salesforce.
• Collaborates with internal teams to win multi-unit projects and drive growth.
