Job summary

Westmoreland Builders, LLC is seeking a Business Development Coordinator for a remote-first role with a preference for Dallas–Fort Worth. You will identify prospective clients across restaurant, retail, healthcare, and other sectors, manage outreach, and help keep the firm’s brand visible across channels.

You’ll research target markets, engage clients via multiple channels, maintain a prospect database, and support proposals and licenses as needed, while coordinating with leadership on strategy.

• Construction industry knowledge for engaging owners and developers.
• Ability to identify target clients and generate qualified opportunities.
• Experience with multi-channel outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn).
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Remote-work experience and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospective clients in target sectors, with a focus on national/regional restaurant and retail brands, plus healthcare, education, government, and industrial.
• Build and maintain a prospect database with contacts, outreach history and opportunities.
• Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, and in-person meetings to generate qualified introductions.
• Articulate Westmoreland Builders’ qualifications, project experience, and differentiators clearly to prospects.
• Monitor industry signals to surface opportunities before they hit the market.
• Manage social media content across platforms to build brand awareness and attract clients.
• Coordinate with leadership to align outreach with project capacity and target markets.
• Track licenses and renewals across jurisdictions and keep qualifications up to date.
• Support proposals by compiling company qualifications and project profiles.
• Represent the firm at industry events and networking functions in the DFW area and beyond.
