Job summary

FronteraCare seeks a mission-driven BCBA to lead Initial Assessments (Functional Behavior Assessments) in a fast-growing, tech-enabled environment. This role uses telehealth and our video-capture technology to inform high-quality treatment plans.

The BCBA will develop data-driven treatment plans, ensure payer-ready reports, and prepare cases for handoff to ongoing BCBA and RBT teams. Multi-state telehealth experience and strong clinical writing are essential.

Qualifications

• Active BCBA certification in good standing.
• Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience working as a BCBA.
• Bilingual English and Spanish.
• Strong clinical writing and analytical skills.
• Experience with telehealth and remote supervision.
• Experience in multi-state telehealth service delivery.
• Experience with video-based observation analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments using caregiver interviews, record review, direct observation, and standardized tools.
• Utilize video-capture technology to review sessions and inform treatment planning.
• Develop data-driven treatment plans and behavior intervention plans aligned with medical necessity.
• Ensure all reports meet payer authorization standards and internal quality benchmarks.
• Prepare cases for smooth transition to ongoing BCBA and RBT teams.
• Serve as clinical gatekeeper for new cases and adapt to evolving processes.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and secure handling of data.
