Job summary

FronteraCare is seeking a mission-driven BCBA to lead Initial Assessments (FBA) in a remote, startup-friendly setting. The role uses telehealth and our video-capture tools to inform high-quality treatment plans and support smooth case transitions to local BCBA and RBT teams.

Qualified candidates will have active BCBA certification, a master’s degree in a related field, 5+ years of BCBA experience, bilingual English/Spanish, and comfort with data systems and remote supervision.

Qualifications

• Active BCBA certification in good standing.
• Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience working as a BCBA.
• Bilingual English and Spanish.
• Strong clinical writing and analytical skills.
• Experience with telehealth and remote supervision.
• Comfort with technology platforms and data systems.
• Ability to work independently in a remote startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) using caregiver interviews, record review, direct observation, and standardized tools.
• Utilize video-capture technology to review sessions and inform treatment planning.
• Develop individualized, data-driven treatment plans and behavior intervention plans.
• Ensure reports meet payer authorization standards and internal quality benchmarks.
• Prepare cases for smooth transition to ongoing BCBA and RBT teams.
• Maintain clinical documentation accuracy and timeliness.
