Job summary

Aldridge Pite, LLP is seeking a Remote Bankruptcy Supervisor to lead the Payment History Ledger Team. The role focuses on supervising daily operations, ensuring accuracy, and meeting court deadlines while coordinating with attorneys and clients.

The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience in bankruptcy or mortgage servicing, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Excel and servicing systems. Remote work flexibility is available for this position.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a similar setting (bankruptcy, mortgage servicing, or law firm).
• Strong knowledge of mortgage loan payment histories, payment applications, escrow accounting, and bankruptcy servicing practices.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with mortgage servicing systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the Payment History Ledger Team and manage workload distribution.
• Oversee preparation and maintenance of payment history ledgers for bankruptcy matters with compliance across stakeholders.
• Monitor team performance, provide coaching and feedback for development.
• Review ledgers for accuracy, resolve discrepancies in payments, escrow, fees and balances.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, case managers, clients and staff to resolve issues and meet deadlines.
• Ensure all requests and deliverables meet SLAs and court deadlines.
• Develop and maintain quality control procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Identify workflow challenges and propose process improvements.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Prepare operational reports and productivity metrics for management review.
• Maintain understanding of bankruptcy procedures and related regulations.
