Job summary

Aldridge Pite, LLP is seeking a Remote Bankruptcy Supervisor to lead the Payment History Ledger Team in a multi-state environment. The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance with client and court requirements, and timely delivery of reports and ledgers.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in bankruptcy or mortgage servicing, strong analytical abilities, and excellent communication skills. This is a fully remote position with full benefits and remote equipment support.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or team leadership experience in a related field.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage loan payment histories, payment applications, escrow accounting.
• Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret loan servicing data and identify discrepancies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; mortgage servicing systems preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the Payment History Ledger Team, including workload distribution, productivity, and quality assurance.
• Oversee preparation, review, and maintenance of payment history ledgers for bankruptcy matters, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor team performance and provide coaching, training, and feedback.
• Review payment history ledgers for accuracy and resolve discrepancies involving payments, escrow, and fees.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, bankruptcy case managers, clients, and servicing personnel to resolve complex issues.
• Ensure all requests and deliverables meet service levels and court deadlines.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Identify workflow challenges and recommend process improvements.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Prepare and maintain operational reports, productivity metrics, and QA results.
• Maintain understanding of bankruptcy procedures and applicable regulations.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
