Job summary

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PM experience in financial services, proven ability to inherit active projects, and strong leadership across business and technology teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience leading complex enterprise initiatives.
• Experience in Financial Services, Banking, Credit Unions, FinTech or Payments organizations.
• Proven success inheriting active projects and accelerating delivery.
• Strong ability to assess project health and drive cross-functional execution.
• Experience in hybrid Agile/Waterfall environments and Scrum oversight.

Responsibilities

• Assess project status, scope, risks, dependencies, and overall health.
• Manage project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets, and deliverables.
• Lead execution across business and technology workstreams.
• Facilitate governance, executive reporting, and stakeholder communications.
• Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including business, technology, operations, and external partners.
• Support delivery within a hybrid Agile and Waterfall framework.
• Oversee Scrum team execution, sprint planning, and dependency management.
• Escalate and resolve blockers impacting schedules and deliverables.
• Drive stakeholder alignment and decision-making across business functions.
• Ensure project objectives align with strategic goals.
