Job summary

Candescent is seeking a Project Manager to lead customer-facing Fintech Services projects, primarily Digital Banking conversion initiatives. You will define scope, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure on-time delivery with high quality across digital banking, account opening, and channel solutions.

The role requires 6+ years of PM experience in enterprise deployments, strong communication, and willingness to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in project management, fintech space.
• 6+ years delivering large-scale online enterprise software deployments to enterprise customers or partnerships.
• 6+ years of project management and/or related management experience, including management of technical projects.
• Travel estimated at 25% to client sites is required.
• Proven cross-functional, end-to-end project management for customer-facing work.
• Experience with technical projects and data management; familiarity with front-end/back-end systems and APIs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and influencing skills.
• Experience using structured project management methods and tools.
• Ability to explain application functionality and system architecture to customers.
• Ability to quickly learn concepts related to financial services industry.
• Ability to quickly learn new products.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership and drive each assigned project to successful completion.
• Assess and mitigate project issues and risks; coordinate internal and external resources; escalate as needed.
• Schedule, install, validate, and deliver products on schedule with high quality and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain strong client relationships from kickoff to go-live date.
• Demonstrate leadership and project management skills.
• Document goals, plans, status, risks and actions for stakeholders.
• Foster relationships with financial institutions to represent customer voice within Candescent.
• Generate creative solutions to challenging project issues under pressure.
• Drive continuous process improvements.
• Serve as coach and mentor to Project Managers in Implementation Services.
• Support conversion projects during non-business hours or weekends.
