Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Project Manager (Banking) for a 100% remote contract role to support a growing portfolio of initiatives in a fast-paced financial services environment.

You will lead Agile delivery, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and provide status updates to executives within an Enterprise PMO. This role involves collaboration on customer-facing and transformation initiatives across banking domains.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing projects from initiation through completion.
• Banking, financial services, or related industry experience.
• Experience working within both traditional project management and Agile delivery environments.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive project outcomes.
• Experience managing project risks, dependencies, and competing priorities.
• Strong facilitation and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Lead project teams through all phases of project execution.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and support Scrum-based delivery teams.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and drive issue resolution.
• Provide regular status updates and executive-level communications.
• Ensure alignment between project objectives and organizational priorities.
• Coordinate resources and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
• Proactively identify challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Foster collaboration and accountability among cross-functional teams.
