Job summary

TEKsystems is recruiting a Project Manager for Banking initiatives. This contract role is fully remote in the United States, with focus on delivering strategic projects within a fast-paced financial services setting.

Ideal candidates will combine banking industry experience with strong Agile and Scrum expertise, coordinate multiple teams, manage stakeholders at all levels, and drive delivery to successful completion.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing projects from initiation through completion.
• Banking, financial services, or related industry experience.
• Experience working within both traditional project management and Agile delivery environments.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive project outcomes.
• Experience managing project risks, dependencies, and competing priorities.
• Strong facilitation and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Lead project teams through all phases of project execution.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and support Scrum-based delivery teams.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and drive issue resolution.
• Provide regular status updates and executive-level communications.
• Ensure alignment between project objectives and organizational priorities.
• Coordinate resources and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
• Proactively identify challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Foster collaboration and accountability among cross-functional teams.
