Job summary

International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) is seeking a seasoned sales professional to drive bakery ingredient solutions across the US market. The role emphasizes building customer relationships, translating technical insights into business value, and collaborating with marketing and R&D teams.

The position is based remotely from the US with up to 50% travel, requiring strong knowledge of the bakery sector, CRM proficiency, and a track record in cross-functional selling and program development.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in food science or bakery science or related lifescience field required.
5+ years of sales, bakery, or confectionary industry experience preferred.
Experience selling functional food ingredients and supporting technical marketing.
Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM tools.

Responsibilities

Understand bakery customer network and industry trends.
Drive sales policies and programs to achieve U.S. regional sales and profit goals.
Build and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Provide technical and application insights to customers in partnership with innovation teams.
Develop deep knowledge of Entire Food Ingredient portfolio and applications.
Support Bakery, Bar, and Confectionary sales teams with expertise and insights.
Maintain a strong opportunity pipeline and participate in trade associations.
