Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a Business Development Specialist to expand agency connections and drive growth in the Northeast. This remote role will require travel to client meetings and industry events, enabling you to actively grow our presence across the region.

You will lead outreach, re-engage dormant partnerships, and partner with underwriters to move opportunities to close, while representing Gallagher at events and in the market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 1–3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or relationship management.
• Strong communication and outreach skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive new agency relationships through high‑volume outreach to position RPS as a trusted surety resource.
• Reignite inactive partnerships by re-engaging agencies and uncovering new opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal underwriters to prioritize opportunities and move deals from first contact to close.
• Represent Gallagher at local industry events to increase visibility and build a regional presence.
