Zurich North America is seeking an Executive Underwriter or AVP, Underwriter Director - Construction Property Underwriter to lead complex Construction Property accounts in a remote/hybrid US-based role. The position supports the Specialties Construction team, coordinating with brokers and distributors and guiding junior staff.

The role emphasizes underwriting expertise, market leadership, and sales-driven growth with a focus on risk selection and client relationships across the US.

Formación

• Experience in underwriting or market-facing roles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related tools.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsabilidades

• Administer underwriting rules and guidelines.
• Collaborate with line of business representatives on referrals.
• Provide guidance to lower level associates when needed.
• Develop and maintain broker and distributor relationships.
• Proactively seek renewal and new account opportunities.
• Conduct opportunity assessments with distributors.
• Make broker/customer calls with prepared purpose.
