Job summary

Westlake Floorplan Company seeks an Automotive Floorplan Portfolio Manager to build and manage a nationwide dealer portfolio from Springfield, IL, with remote work options. You will sign dealerships, drive sales, manage servicing, and mitigate risks while coordinating with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the automotive industry.
• Strong financial acumen and terminology.
• Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills across levels and teams.
• Proven time management and deadline discipline.
• Negotiation and collection abilities.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• BA/BS in related field and 3 years of related experience; or equivalent.
• 2+ years related experience in finance, sales, account management and/or collections.
• Travel greater than 75% with overnight stays.
• Ability to travel, fly, and drive.
• Ability to sit/stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire and retain dealer clients.
• Build and maintain relationships with dealership owners and key decision-makers.
• Identify opportunities for portfolio growth with financing solutions.
• Conduct market research to stay competitive.
• Oversee servicing of the floorplan portfolio and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor account performance and address issues.
• Collaborate with teams to streamline processes and improve experience.
• Provide training to dealerships on financing solutions.
• Develop risk assessment models for dealership creditworthiness.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure policy compliance.
• Monitor portfolio performance: loan balances and dealer activity.
