Job summary

AAA The Auto Club Group seeks a Temporary Claim Representative II to handle moderately complex Auto Physical Damage (APD) claims from intake to resolution in a remote work setup. The role requires negotiation, thorough investigations, and accurate damage evaluations.

Responsibilities include communicating with insureds, reviewing policy coverage, and approving settlements while coordinating with other teams as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Complete ACG Claim Representative Training Program or demonstrate equivalent knowledge or experience.
• In states where an Adjuster’s license is required, eligible to acquire a State Adjuster’s license within 90 days of hire.
• A valid driver's license is required if in-person inspections or meetings are frequent.

Responsibilities

• Review and manage moderately complex APD claims from initial assignment through resolution.
• Contact insureds and other parties, set expectations, and provide clear communication throughout the claim process.
• Analyze policy coverage, limits, exclusions, and available policyholder benefits.
• Investigate claim facts, determine cause of loss and liability, and identify recovery opportunities.
• Inspect vehicles, evaluate damages, and prepare damage estimates.
• Settle total loss claims and approve payments to appropriate parties.
• Monitor vehicle repairs and approve eligible car rental expenses.
• Maintain accurate claim documentation and closure activities in the claims system.
