Job summary

Reserv is seeking an APD Adjuster to investigate, settle and manage auto damage claims from first notice to closure in a remote-enabled role across the United States. You will determine coverage, liability and value while maintaining clear documentation and customer focus.

You will handle loss of use, towing, storage and related expenses, and negotiate repairs or total losses with renters, claimants and body shops. A state license and ongoing licenses are required or pursued within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years auto physical damage or commercial auto claims experience.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair, estimating and total loss valuation.
• Ability to negotiate and communicate in writing with stakeholders.
• Experience with high-volume, deadline-driven claims workloads and a claims system.

Responsibilities

• Open, investigate and manage a caseload from first notice to closure.
• Perform detailed coverage analysis and liability assessment.
• Review rental agreements to confirm coverage and deductibles.
• Contact renters, claimants, shops and appraisers within timeframes.
• Evaluate damage with estimates, photos and appraisals; negotiate settlements.
• Identify subrogation opportunities and document them thoroughly.
• Flag fraud or litigation risk and escalate as needed.
• Maintain accurate notes and reserves; comply with standards.
