Job summary

State Farm is seeking an Auto Estimator for a remote-field role centered in Miami, FL. You will collect vehicle information and complete initial and supplemental estimates via photos or in person, while guiding insureds through the claims process with Remarkable service.

Responsibilities include using automated estimating systems, supporting claim handlers, evaluating damage and documentation, and communicating clearly with customers and repair shops across flexible hours and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Auto collision repair, auto damage estimating, and/or auto insurance appraiser experience
• Excellent customer service, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task across technical platforms
• Accountability and resourcefulness
• A valid driver’s license is required

Responsibilities

• Collect vehicle information from repair shops or customers and complete estimates via photos or in person
• Explain coverage, estimate vehicle damage, and assist customers through the claims process
• Use automated estimating systems to prepare repair estimates
• Provide technical support to claim handlers on vehicle repair issues
• Evaluate bid content, photo documentation, and causation issues
• Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to customers and repair shops
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the claims process
