Job summary
State Farm is hiring an Auto Estimator to collect vehicle information from repair shops or customers and prepare initial and supplemental estimates, remotely and in the field. You may meet with insureds, explain coverage, and guide them through the claims process while delivering Remarkable service.
This remote-field role blends at-home virtual estimates with in-person appointments using a mobile office. You will leverage CCC One or Mitchell and industry knowledge to assess damage, support claim
Qualifications
- Experience in auto collision repair or auto insurance estimating.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task across technical platforms and workflows.
- Valid driver's license required.
Responsibilities
- Using automated estimating systems to prepare repair estimates for vehicles.
- Provide technical support to claim handlers on vehicle repair issues.
- Assess vehicle damage and causation to aid claims processing.
- Evaluate bid content and photo documentation.
- Answer inbound and make outbound calls to customers and repair shops.
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the claims process.
