Job summary

State Farm is seeking an Auto Estimator for a Remote-Field role in Sudbury, MA. You will collect vehicle data, prepare estimates via photos or in person, and support insureds through the claims process with consistent, Remarkable service.

You’ll interact with repair shops and customers, explain coverage, and advise claim handlers on repair issues while maintaining strong customer service and communication. A valid license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in auto collision repair estimating and/or insurance appraisal.
• Strong written and verbal communication and critical thinking.
• Ability to multi-task across technical platforms.
• Accountability and resourcefulness.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Collect vehicle information from repair shops or customers and prepare estimates.
• Explain coverage and guide insureds through the claims process.
• Provide expert support to claim handlers on repair issues.
• Review bid content, photo documentation, and causation issues.
• Respond to inbound calls and coordinate with shops.
