Job summary

State Farm is seeking an Auto Estimator for a remote-field role based in Chesterfield, MO. You will collect vehicle information, prepare initial and supplemental estimates from photos or in person, and guide insureds through the claims process while delivering Remarkable service.

You will use automated estimating systems, support claim handlers, evaluate damage, and coordinate with shops and customers. A valid driver’s license and auto collision/estimating experience are required.

Qualifications

• Auto collision repair/estimation experience required.
• Excellent customer service, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task across technical platforms.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Physical agility to evaluate vehicle damage and create estimates.

Responsibilities

• Collect vehicle information from repair shops or customers and complete initial and supplemental estimates via photos or in person.
• Explain coverage and guide insureds through the claims process while delivering Remarkable service.
• Provide technical support to claim handlers on vehicle repair issues.
• Evaluate bid content, photos, vehicle damage, and causation issues.
• Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to customers and shops.
• Maintain exceptional customer service throughout the claims process.
