Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of auto physical damage appraisal or equivalent experience or Travelers training.
• Active adjuster license where applicable.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess vehicle damage via on-site or virtual inspections at shops or customer locations.
• Prepare repair estimates using industry-standard estimating software.
• Evaluate and settle total losses by determining actual cash value (ACV).
• Negotiate repairs and settlements with body shops, customers, and third parties.
• Document pre-existing damage and potential fraud indicators.
• Collaborate with claim teams to coordinate repairs and resolve issues.
• Explain appraisal process to customers and maintain timely communications.
