Snapsheet Inc. is seeking an experienced Virtual Auto Appraiser / Claims Negotiator to join its remote team in the United States.

This role requires analyzing repair estimates, negotiating technical decisions, and managing high-volume claims operations. The successful candidate will review vehicle damage claims, prepare accurate estimates using CCC One and other platforms, and communicate with repair facilities while adhering to carrier guidelines and DRP workflows.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of auto physical damage claims handling experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience writing auto property damage claims.
• Experience with insurance carrier operations, collision repair environments, or DRP workflows is valued.
• Proven experience managing high-volume claim reviews or field estimates.
• Extensive working knowledge of CCC One estimating platform is required.
• Strong analytical thinking, negotiation skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment using multiple technology platforms.
• Valid state insurance appraisal license required before starting, or willingness to complete licensing coursework.

Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate complex auto repair supplements and estimates with body shops while ensuring compliance with carrier guidelines.
• Manage a high-volume claims desk while maintaining accuracy and meeting daily productivity expectations of 10–16 claims.
• Prepare fair and accurate repair estimates using CCC One and other estimating platforms.
• Analyze claim details, identify discrepancies, and escalate questionable damages for further review.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all internal and external communications.
• Adapt to different carrier workflows while maintaining professional written and verbal communication.
• Represent Snapsheet and carrier partners by resolving technical challenges professionally.
