Job summary

ArcheSys is seeking a detail-oriented Jira & Confluence Administrator / Systems Engineer to own and scale our enterprise Atlassian ecosystem. You will manage day-by-day administration, health, workflows, and integrations across Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence in both Data Center and Cloud.

The role requires 4–7 years of hands-on experience, strong scripting and DevOps integration, and collaboration with security and development teams.

Qualifications

4–7 years of dedicated Jira/Confluence administration in mid-to-large enterprises.
In-depth Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence administration (Data Center & Cloud).
Hands-on automation with Groovy scripts, ScriptRunner, and REST APIs (Python/Bash).
Familiarity with Linux (RHEL), databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/Oracle) and proxies.
Experience with SAML/SSO, LDAP/AD, and Atlassian Access.
Understanding of DevOps linking Jira to Git commits, CI/CD pipelines, deployments.

Responsibilities

Configure and maintain Jira Software, JSM, and Confluence; customize issue types, workflows, schemes.
Monitor platform health across Data Center and Cloud; perform upgrades and backups.
Design automations using Jira rules, ScriptRunner, and REST APIs.
Integrate Atlassian tools with Okta/Azure AD, CI/CD tools, and collaboration apps.
Evaluate and govern Marketplace apps; manage licenses and deprecations.
Support data migrations and governance; assist cloud/data center migrations.
Provide tier-2/3 enablement; write Confluence docs and run admin trainings.
