Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Full-time Remote Pilot Operator to join the Controller Training Solutions team at the Atlanta ATCT in Hapeville, GA, supporting FAA training services. The RPO operates a simulated radar display and voice communications system to emulate pilots and remote ATC facilities during training exercises.

The candidate will complete certifications in classroom and lab settings, and must be a US citizen with a high school diploma and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• US citizenship with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• High school diploma and basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to read diagrams and manuals and speak clearly.
• Experience in a multidisciplinary team environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate the air traffic controller training simulator as the pilot and other controllers.
• Run a simulated radar display and voice communication system to mirror real scenarios.
• Input correct entries into the automated system and use proper ATC terminology.
• Communicate with students via voice and phraseology to support training outcomes.
