Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Full-time Remote Pilot Operator (RPO) to join the Controllers Training Solutions team at the Denver TRACON (D01) in Denver, CO. The RPO will simulate pilot actions and ATC communications, operating radar displays and a voice system for FAA training exercises.

The candidate will complete classroom and lab certifications to perform as a Remote Pilot Operator across positions, supports a high-safety training program for the NAS and FAA objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma with basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals; speak clearly and be understood.
• US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Operate a simulated radar display and voice communication system to mimic pilot actions and ATC interactions.
• Record entries, translate information into ATC terminology, and respond to students via voice communications.
• Complete required classroom and lab certifications for Remote Pilot Operator roles.
