Job summary

Local Hero is seeking a sharp and strategic Associate Media Director to lead our media team, developing integrated media plans for major national and international brands. This role reports directly to the President and COO and sits within the Operations function. This position is remote (hybrid available if within commuting distance to Boulder, CO) and open to candidates across several U.S.

states. You’ll lead, coach and execute across digital media to drive results and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of media planning, buying and reporting experience.
• Minimum 1–2 years managerial experience.
• Experience with offshore and distributed teams.
• Minimum 1–2 years attribution/tracking using GTM and/or ad servers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, Digital Media or related field preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead lifecycle and execution of core digital media functions across an on- and offshore team.
• Be player-coach, mentoring talent while handling media buys, presentations, reporting and QA.
• Serve as a key internal expert across digital media channels and platforms.
• Create and refine media planning and buying strategies, platforms and media mixes.
• Identify and implement new platforms, technologies and processes, including AI.
• Collaborate with Creative and Campaign Operations leads for smooth handoffs.
• Directly manage Google Tag Manager, ad servers and media data tracking, attribution, analysis and UTM.
