Attendance Works is seeking an experienced Associate Director of Communications to lead editorial and mission-driven projects in a fully remote role across the United States. The position focuses on expanding national reach while managing production workflows, social media, and campaign materials.

The candidate will oversee writing, editing, and promotion strategies, collaborating across programs, fundraising, and communications teams to ensure brand-consistent messaging and engaging content.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional print and digital production and project management experience.
• Excellent writing, editing and communication skills.
• Strong project management and cross-team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead production of tools, resources and reports for national campaigns.
• Manage social media strategy across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter and Bluesky, with content calendars.
• Support Attendance Awareness Campaign with campaign materials and microsite updates.
• Write and edit promotional materials, press releases, op-eds and annual reports.
