Job summary

Monks seeks an Associate Director of Media Strategy to own strategy and planning for a major client relationship. You will guide end-to-end deliverables, develop integrated, full-funnel plans, and lead senior-level client conversations.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in media strategy with strong data storytelling, familiarity with AI-enabled workflows, and a track record of growing account workstreams. This role follows a Return to Office policy and offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience focused on media strategy, planning and client service.
• BA or equivalent with emphasis on marketing, advertising, or business.
• Proficient in data-driven storytelling and ROI-focused recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and planning workstreams for key client relationships end-to-end.
• Develop go-to-market and integrated, full-funnel media plans informed by insights.
• Present and report to senior clients; drive performance and outcomes.
• Mentor 1–3 direct reports and manage priorities and feedback.
• Collaborate with Activation, Investment and Data & Measurement teams.
• Stay current on platform offerings and maximize media value.
