Jobgether, a mission-driven nonprofit focused on expanding access to higher education, seeks an Associate General Counsel based in the United States. You will provide strategic legal guidance across privacy, IP, contracts, compliance, and governance for a nationwide remote-first organization.

You will lead cross-functional teams, translate complex legal concepts into practical business guidance, manage risk, and stay ahead of evolving laws.

Formación

• JD from ABA-approved law school
• Active state bar admission
• 8–10 years of legal experience in relevant areas

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic legal guidance to leadership and stakeholders across the organization.
• Manage legal risk, privacy, IP, governance, compliance, and contracts.
• Draft, review and negotiate complex agreements.
• Advise on data privacy, IP rights and regulatory obligations.
• Support corporate governance and risk management.
• Oversee litigation matters and coordinate risk-mitigation strategies.
