Job summary

EAB is seeking an Associate Director, Research Advisory Services to lead strategic advisory work for higher education and K-12 institutions. You will advise boards, presidents, and senior leaders, delivering high-impact presentations and workshops to guide financial and mission-related decisions.

You will split time between market-facing work (about 80%) and client engagement, with travel expectations of 40–50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, with an excellent academic record and 5+ years of post-graduate, professional experience; or 4+ years of post-graduate, professional experience and advanced degree
• Experience working with client executives, either at a college, university, district, or school or as a consultant or advisor
• Superior verbal, written, facilitation, and presentation skills
• Ability to create a compelling narrative through data visualization, graphics, and slides
• Excellent relationship building and collaboration skills; ability to build relationships with and engage and challenge senior-level executives

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain issue expertise across research terrains, with a focus on university executive cabinet priorities
• Deliver EAB’s point of view through phone consultations, virtual meetings, conferences, and on-campus presentations
• Collaborate with research teams to diagnose client problems and guide decisions
• Drive partner readiness and engagement through strategic facilitation and storytelling
• Support sales in new client development and research collaboration
